I made my first exhibition in September 2004 at the Bar of a friend of mine from Manresa. I had gone at Easter of that year to Iran, where I began experimenting with film in black and white. We saw the pictures and we make a initial choose. The development of the reels was in the darkroom. This is the material we choose, in the way that I scanned it initially. I am thinking critically review the original negatives.

Although hopes were left behind Khatami’s government openness, the youth in Iranare still fighting for the hope of opening to the Western world.

There was in 2004 and I had gone to spend Easter to Iran. Going to practice my first black and white reels. I bought Ilford Delta 100 and HP 400. It was already the end of the travel and the journey between Isfahan and Teheran we decided to stop at Kashan.

The celebration of the Third Iman Day was a real surprise for us and of course an excellent reason to take some photos. See also the post Memories of Iran.

This photo was my first contribution to the blog, it was because in this trip to Iran and the photographs I had the oprotunidad to capture, when it really started my passion for photography.
