About a hundred activists stripped naked on Sunday 5 December at the Plaza Sant Jaume de Barcelona to protest against the fur industry and raise public awareness about the number of animals that are needed to make a single fur coat.

The organization has convened this AnimaNaturalis hundred activists in the Plaza Sant Jaume, where, once naked, they have drawn up gallons of red paint to symbolize the blood shed by these animals.
Cerca de un centenar de activistas se desnudaron el domingo 5 de diciembre en la plaza Sant Jaume de Barcelona para protestar contra la industria peletera y concienciar a los ciudadanos sobre el número de animales que son necesarios para confeccionar un sólo abrigo de piel.

De hecho, el desnudo masivo pretende representar el alto número de zorros, visones, nutrias, linces, castores e incluso chinchillas que son criados con el único fin de acabar convertidos en abrigos de piel.

La organización AnimaNaturalis ha convocado a este centenar de activistas en la plaza Sant Jaume, donde, una vez desnudos, se han tirado por encima litros de pintura roja que simbolizaba la sangre derramada por estos animales.
